How will ‘Manifest’ end? These wild fan theories predict how the series will conclude. All the 828ers are detained after all the passengers exhibited “particularly onerous or unusual behavior.” The registry is ordered to fulfill a mass lockup, and at the end of the episode we see the 828ers behind bars. Gupta arrives at the lab with armed forces. Saanvi’s and Vance’s lab is shut down after Saanvi calls on Dr. Angelina fuses herself with the Omega egg - a sapphire stone of divine origin capable of controlling the calling that potentially was what the 828ers need to save the world. The scar begins to move and take the shape of a dragon, revealing that Cal is the dragon, aka the only person who can save the world from the death date. His scar tissue begins to glow - the sapphire is part of him. Free of his cancer, Cal becomes extremely powerful. He dies moments later in Michaela’s arms. When he discovers that Cal is the only person capable of saving the world, Zeke uses his powers of empathy to absorb Cal’s cancer. Throughout “Manifest” Season 4, Zeke developed the ability to feel everything. In the final minutes of the season finale, Zeke dies. This seems inevitable, and hopefully, this will be handled respectfully. What does that do for a release date on the final batch of episodes? We must first acknowledge that Zeke’s departure opens the door (as sad is it is right now) for Michaela to come back together with former flame Jared. We’ve already met the new Cal, and hopefully, the finale will manage to save the world after Zeke sacrificed himself in the interest of saving Cal. That’s a few seasons ahead of showrunner Jeff Rake’s original plan, but hopefully, some actual answers will materialize, and we’ll find out why Flight 828 dropped off the radar in the first place. Manifest returned last week for Season 4, Part I, and fans are already wondering when Part 2 will arrive to wrap up the series.
